Vivian Or is an actor, artist, and writer. She has a BFA in Theatre from York University, along with a diploma from Humber College’s Theatre Performance Program. She studied improv, comedy, and sketch at Bad Dog Theatre, Second City, and the Upright Citizens Brigade.

In her hometown Toronto, she has performed and created works at Factory Theatre, Shakespeare in the Ruff, fu-GEN Theatre, the National Theatre School of Canada, and has appeared on screen in both film and television. She is also a writer for CNT Productions based in Los Angeles and New York. She plans to continue collaborating with creatives who are eager to advocate for equity, uplift marginalized voices, and prioritize intersectional inclusivity.

As a sapphic Asian-Canadian artist who was born in Hong Kong, immigrated to Canada at a tender age of one, and with roots outstretched by oceans, Vivian’s work delves into a lot of comedies with themes of identity, home, and belonging.

In her spare time, you can find Vivian winning at local pop culture trivia nights, collecting miniatures at your neighbourhood thrift stores, or crafting DIY projects out of recycled goods.
